About this domain

A private email forwarding relay. It is not a website, a product, or a mailing service.

Every address at this domain is an alias belonging to one of a handful of people who use it. Mail sent to an alias is forwarded to that person's own mailbox, so a different address can be given to each service or correspondent without ever handing out the real one. If an address starts attracting mail it should not, it can be switched off on its own without disturbing any of the others.

What this domain sends

• Forwarded copies of mail addressed to it, delivered to the mailbox of the person that alias belongs to.
• Replies from those people to correspondents who wrote to one of these addresses first.

What it does not send

• No marketing, newsletters, campaigns or bulk mail of any kind.
• No mail to lists, purchased addresses, or anyone who did not write first.
• No mail for anyone outside this group. There is no sign-up, and no sending on behalf of third parties.

How it is operated

One operator runs it for a small group, on the order of five people, as a privacy measure for their own correspondence. Volume is a few dozen messages a day at most and is not expected to grow, because it is bounded by the mail those few people actually receive.

Delivery is monitored: bounces and complaints are recorded and alerted on, suppressed destinations are checked automatically, and mail that fails authentication or looks like spam is held rather than forwarded. Addresses that misbehave are retired.

Unwanted mail from this domain

If you have received something from an address here that you did not expect, it was almost certainly a reply to a message you sent to one of these addresses. Replying to it reaches the person who wrote it, and asking to be removed will be honoured.
